Question:
Since hand counting paper ballots is a certified voting system, why can’t the election officials just allow the counties who want to hand-count the ballots instead of using the electronic voting equipment, which has obviously lost the trust of the voting public? If the time required to hand-count is a concern, why not simply hire more people to hand-count? Doesn’t it make more sense to pay our own people to count rather than paying ES&S and Hart InterCivic?
Answer:
Her body language says it all.
